Improving Outcomes in Science for all

03 February 2021 10 AM Virtual

We would like to invite all science teachers (from South and East Yorkshire) to attend our Improving Science Outcomes for All conference (via Zoom) on the afternoons of 3rd and 4th February 2021.

The themes are around removing barriers to learning science and include social mobility, cognitive science, removing language barriers and developing literacy and numeracy. We have a number of exciting speakers lined up. There are sessions for primary and secondary, and some cross-phase sessions. You can attend the full conference, or dip in and out and attend only the sessions that you can find time for, whatever works best for you.

We would recommend that each school should book at least one person onto the event.

This is a cross-phase conference, with sessions for primary and secondary running concurrently on both afternoons. The conference is FREE to Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Selby, Hull and Scarborough schools. Also free to any school within an Opportunity Area. Please contact Tim Clark for the discount code when making the booking.
It is possible to share the links with colleagues, so that more than one person can attend under the same booking’.

There is a charge of £50 per school to attend from outside the SLP/non OA schools.
